The Course

Currently ranked 70th in Australia’s Top 100 Public Courses, Club Mandalay is the premier golf course in Melbourne’s North. Five-time British Open Champion and renowned golf course architect the late Peter Thomson, former principal of the golf course architecture firm Thomson Perrett has proudly designed the Mandalay Golf Course. The course is extremely open, the fairways are wide with large areas of deep rough to the sides of the greens. The wide fairways are interrupted by deep menacing bunkers that appear each time you walk onto the tee.

Membership Overview

The 3-Month Trial Membership provides temporary access to the Club Mandalay golf course
and selected club facilities for a period of three (3) consecutive months from the initial sign up
date.

Inclusions

Trial members participating in the trial will receive:
- Unlimited access to social golf
- Eligibility to participate in club competitions (subject to conditions below)
- An active Golf ID handicap for the duration of the trial
- Priority access to tee time bookings
- Opportunity to engage with the Club Mandalay community and facilities

Booking Privileges

Trial members are entitled to the following booking windows:
Monday to Friday: Up to 14 days in advance
Weekends: Up to seven (7) days in advance
**All bookings are subject to availability.

Competition Play

Trial members may participate in club competitions provided they hold an active GA
Handicap record on the Golf Australia system
Wednesday/Saturday morning competition access is permitted for members
and trial members with an active GA handicap record
*The following events are excluded:
- Honour Board events
- Monthly Medals

Handicap Requirements

Trial Members without an existing GA Handicap record must:
- Submit three (3) 18-hole scorecards
- Scorecards must be signed by a current club member
  Trial Members with a current GA Handicap record are required to:
  *Display at least five (5) Golf Australia competition scores (not including social rounds)
  recorded within the previous six (6) months to be eligible to win the daily competition
  ***Golf Operations reserves the right to determine competition eligibility based on the
  member’s GA Handicap record and recent competition history.
