The Course

Macquarie Links is a championship 72-par golf course designed by distinguished course designer, Robin Nelson. It is located less than an hour’s drive from the Sydney CBD between Ingleburn and Macquarie Fields. Built in the best tradition of a Scottish links but with the Australian bush character at its heart, the course rolls out over some magnificent land. Native bushes, mature gum trees, dams and a well-placed creek are features. Whilst the front nine provides generous fairways, the back nine provides a serious challenge to golfers. The 170m 11th, called ‘Billabong’, which plays across a ravine, and the 209 metre 15th, known as ‘Sheep-Dip’. Both require pinpoint accurate tee shots.
