Cairns Golf Club
The Cairns Golf Club is the oldest golf course in Cairns (established in 1923) and is the most conveniently located golf course to the city - only a few minutes from the centre of Cairns.
We have a very picturesque setting with our 18 hole championship quality course set amongst tropical surrounds and spectacular mountain backdrops.
Set amid spectacular mountain scenery, the course features generous fairways and large greens making it player-friendly for members & social players. However for all major events the course proves a more challenging test. With the tees back and the pins tricky suddenly friendly becomes mean and the course proves that it can bite back.
This is an excellent public golf course located 7 kilometres south of Cairns, on the Bruce Highway at Woree (access via Kate St). A beautifully lush, undulating course, well laid out and set amidst tropical and native landscaping, with lush greens and a mountain backdrop. Cairns City Golf Course has several water hazards, which both complements as well as making the course challenging to all levels of golfers. The layout has 4 x par 3, 10 x par 4 and 4 x par 5. Practice fairway (own balls), green.
Full clubhouse facilities, practice tees and pro shop.
